How to connect your device/app to dacadoo?
Step-by-step guide
You can now connect your third-party device(s) or apps with dacadoo directly via the mobile dacadoo app (iOS, Android) or via the web access www.dacadoo.com for PCs, tablets or other smartphones (e.g. Windows Phone, etc.). See here which third-party device(s) and app(s) can be connected.
Hereafter, please find step-by-step guides on how to connect your third-party device(s) or apps with dacadoo via the mobile dacadoo app (A) and via the web access (B).
A) Connect via the mobile dacadoo app
(1) Basic setup
You will need the latest version of the dacadoo application for iOS or Android on your smartphone. Also, you need to have an internet connection, as you will need the browser on your smartphone.
(2) Log in to the dacadoo app
The first step (assuming you have already installed the app) will be to log in to the dacadoo application with your email and password. Then click on Log In.
(3) Access connections page Tracking Devices/Apps
On the main navigation of the app, please click on Track and then on Tracking Devices/Apps.
(4) Overview of connectable devices/apps
To connect third-party device(s) or apps, click on the device or app you wish to connect to dacadoo.
(5) Initialize Connection
You will access the device/app specific details page on dacadoo. Click on Initialize Connection to start the connection process.
(6) Connection process
A new login page from your third-party device(s) or apps will open and you need to log in with your email and password of your respective account.
You will need to confirm that you do allow to connect your account to dacadoo by clicking on Confirm/Allow when asked.
(7) Check successful connection
To double check if your connection was successful, please return to Track > Tracking Devices/Apps on dacadoo and verify, if you see the blue icon with a check mark next to the device/app you wanted to connect.
Click on the device/app to access the detail page and define, what data you wish to transfer. Click on Save Settings to confirm settings.
B) Connect third-party device(s) or apps via the web access of dacadoo
(1) Log in to dacadoo via www.dacadoo.com
Please access www.dacadoo.com via your browser on your PC, tablet or other smartphones (e.g. Windows Phone, etc.), click on User Support and select Sign up with Access-Code or User Login and enter your email and password in the login screen.
(2) Access connections page Tracking Devices/Apps
After successful login, click on Track and then on Add Tracking Devices/Apps. If you have a small screen you will need to scroll down, else you will not see it.

(3) Overview of connectable devices/apps
To connect with your third-party device(s) or apps, click on the respective device/app.

(4) Initialize Connection
You will access the detail page of your device(s) or apps on dacadoo. Click on Initiate Connection to start the connection process.
(5) Connection process
A new login page from your third-party device(s) or apps will open and you need to log in with your email and password of your respective account.
You will need to confirm that you do allow to connect your account to dacadoo by clicking on Confirm/Allow when asked.
(6) Check successful connection
