dacadoo is delighted to be named in CB Insights’ first annual Insurtech 50: a listing that showcases the 50 most promising new insurtech companies across the globe. This distinction places dacadoo alongside other global innovators such as Cybercube, Nayya, and Policygenius.

CB Insights is a leader in matching companies to the technological solution they require. It builds software that enables top companies to discover, understand, and confidently make technology decisions. Using its industry insights platform, the CB Insights research team identified these 50 private market vendors from a pool of over 2,000 applicants and nominees. All the companies named in the CB Insights list, including dacadoo, were selected for their excellence in R&D, Mosaic scores, market potential, business relationships, investor profile, news sentiment analysis, competitive landscape, team strength, and tech novelty.

Since our founding in 2010, dacadoo has been striving to achieve our mission of “Great Life & Health for Everyone.” Our company delivers on this mission by offering insurers the ability to make sense of health data while also offering individuals a proven tool to make positive choices about their health. dacadoo’s offering addresses this dual-goal approach with two interconnected services: the Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP) and the Risk Engine.

The dacadoo Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP) is an app that motivate users to adopt healthier lifestyle habits. The platform integrates best practices from behavioral science with functions inspired by gamification principles, and social networking. It integrates the patented dacadoo Health Score with automated, digital coaching, working as a personal health coach in users’ pockets.

The dacadoo Risk Engine uses a foundation of over 300 million person-years of scientific data. Our technology makes sense out of existing health and lifestyle data. It can integrate real-time data fed continuously into the Risk Engine via the dacadoo Digital Health Engagement Platform and other tracking sources.

The DHEP platform is fully customizable via a fully branded white label package or through our RESTful Application Programming Interface, the dacadoo API (OAuth 2.0 and OpenID). Customers can make use of this to build their own user-facing applications.
