EFU Life Assurance is one of Pakistan’s premier life insurance companies, established in 1992. Having its head office in Karachi, EFU operates nationwide, catering to both urban and rural areas with a wide range of individual and corporate insurance plans.

The Challenge

EFU Life wanted to engage their customers beyond traditional insurance by educating them on managing their physical, mental, and lifestyle health. The company needed a solution to keep users actively engaged through gamification, rewards, and personalized health tracking while providing actionable, tailored insights for diverse demographics. Additionally, seamless integration with wearables was crucial for real-time tracking of health data. EFU Life aimed to incentivize behaviour changes with rewards for achieving health milestones, all while launching a competitive digital platform quickly to stay ahead in the market.

The Solution

In building out the WIN  proposition EFU Life utilized dacadoo’s Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP) to address its challenges and deliver an innovative and engaging digital wellness experience to their customers.  The proposition offers customers financial security through a life insurance policy, while enriching their wellness journey through DHEP features. By combining activity tracking, gamification, and data-driven insights, the DHEP experience encourages positive lifestyle choices that contribute to long-term health improvements.

The Outcome

The integration of dacadoo’s Health Engagement Platform into EFU Life’s WIN APP yielded impressive results, with increased user engagement through monthly challenges and personalized health tracking. EFU Life became one of the leading insurers  in Pakistan to offer a comprehensive digital wellness solution, setting a new industry benchmark. The platform’s personalized insights and goal-setting features enhanced the user experience, while the quick six-month launch time ensured EFU Life maintained its leadership in digital transformation.
